  1. First, download and install Navigation Pro to your watch from the Galaxy store. Then open the app and it will prompt you to download the app to your phone.

  2. Go to Playstore and search for Navigation pro and then download it on your smart device as this cannot work without a smartphone.
  3. Open Google maps and tap on your destination and long tap on the direction button to start routes navigation. This will automatically start the app on your smartwatch. The will speak out navigation as you move to your destination.

  4. To terminate the navigation tracking, tap on the cancel icon from the app to stop tracking your routes.
    Note: This is a paid app, you will need to pay to activate this app to work with Google maps.

First option, Free app

The second option I use to track my routes is Navigation Wear, this app is free and it works with Google Map very well and can help you easily locate your destination by speaking to you from your watch. The process is pretty much about the same as the first method.

  1. First, download Naviagtion Wear from Galaxy Store to your watch and also install the app on your phone.
  2. Next, open Google Maps, tap on your destination and long press on directions to start route tracking.
  3. This will automatically start the Navigation Wear app on your Active 2.

These navigation apps will work for Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Watch, Active 2, and Gear S3 smartwatches.

The Fitbit App requires a smartphone running on Apple iOS 12.2 or higher or Android OS 7.0 or higher to work. This post will show you how to set up the Versa 2 to walk with your phone.

For you to set up your Fitbit Versa 2 to work with your smartphone you will have to follow the following guidelines.

  1. Go to playstore if you have an Android phone or iOS store if you have an iPhone and search for Fitbit app and then download the Fitbit app on your phone and open it.
  2. Then you will have to turn on your Bluetooth on your phone to connect with your Versa 2.
  3. Create a your Fitbit account or sign in if you are an existing user. Then click on the profile icon up at the left corner of your phone and then tap on setup a new device.

  4. Find Versa 2 and tap on it.

  5. You will need to charge the Versa 2 as its part of the pairing process, so fix the Versa 2 in the charging dock to continue.

  6. Wait for Versa 2 to pair, the watch wil now show a code you will have to enter on your phone.

  7. The app will ask you to connect to any available Wifi network to download the latest Fitbit Versa 2 update.
  8. The Versa 2 will now download the latest update and you see a success mesage which signals the end of the setup process.

    2. Download the Galaxy wearable app from play store, Galaxy store or iOS store if you use an Apple phone.
