Fitbit Versa 2 vs Ticwatch Pro 4G vs Amazfit Verge: Which is Better?
DESIGN: The Versa 2 with the least case size is the most compact, it’s also the slimmest which makes it the sleekest and classiest. The Versa 2 also weighs the least, thanks to its aluminum case material, this off course makes it the most comfortable wear out of these three. Although, the other two are also relatively lightweight.
WATER RESISTANCE RATING: The Versa 2 is rated 5ATM which makes it water resistant up to 50meters compared to the other two rated IP68 (water resistant up to 1.5meters). This makes the Versa 2 swim-proof and the best choices to wear to the pool or ocean. Although, Mobvoi has certified the Pro 4G suitable to wear to the pool, but I won’t recommend it.
CONNECTIVITY: The Versa 2 lacks inbuilt GPS which is present on the other two, this makes the Pro 4G and Verge better choices for outdoor activity tracking compared to the Versa 2. Although, GPS features are enabled on the Versa 2 when connected to your phone GPS.
CELLULAR CONNECTIVITY:The Pro 4G ships with e-SIM which enables cellular connectivity on this devices. As a result it’s a standalone smartwatch that allow you make and receive calls directly from the Pro 4G. Although, it’s e-SIM only support Verizon for now.
The Verge equipped with mic and loudspeaker allows you to make and receive calls directly from the watch, but must be connected to your phone Bluetooth.
MEDIA: Looking at the media features, the Versa 2 equipped with microphone lacks loudspeaker, both of which are present on the Pro 4G and Verge. This supports the calling features mentioned earlier, and also allows you play media files anywhere.
While the Versa 2 and Verge features voice assistant powered by Alexa, Google Assistant is in charge on the Pro 4G.
FITNESS TRACKING:Like mentioned earlier each of these three is fitness-focused and well equipped to track your daily activities. With any of these three, you can track your steps, distance, sleep, steps, calories, continuous heart rate, sedentary reminder and outdoor activity tracking via GPS.
However, the Versa 2 is able to count floors climbed, menstrual cycle logging for women. tracks your blood oxygen level as well as features onscreen workout modes that coach you through your favorite moves (subscription based) which no doubt makes it a more comprehensive activity tracker.
BATTERY LIFE:The Versa 2 tested to last up to 6 days has a slightly longer battery life than the Verge that will last about 4 days or more and even longer than the Pro 4G with about 2 days battery life.
Although, the FSTN display of the Pro 4G will see it last up to 30 days, but with the FSTN mode activated, Wear OS features are deactivated.
VERDICT:No doubt, each of these three is an outstanding smartwatch that has got a decent appearance, lots of features, fitness-focused and long battery life, but I give it to the Pro 4G – it’s a more comprehensive smartwatch.
