Fenix 8, Enduro 3 and Tactix 8 Get New Features With New Software v13.31 Update

Garmin is currently rolling out a massive firmware update to the Fenix 8, Fenix E, Enduro 3 and Tactix 8 watches

This update which has a firmware code of 13.31 is the first major update for these devices since mid-December.

For context, Garmin recently released Software update 12.38 earlier this month, but that was a smaller update focused solely on fixing a GPS-related bug. This one? is a whole different story.

For instance, it introduces a whopping 29 new features and 57 bug fixes to the Fenix 8 series.

Some of the notable features include support for **Body Battery TrueUp, which syncs your Body Battery data across multiple devices for better accuracy.

There is also a new passcode functionality that lets you beef up your device’s security.

Garmin has also added support for strength workouts within the Garmin Run Coach and Garmin Cycling Coach plans.

Evenmore, there is a new qwerty keyboard with support for predictive text. For now, the predictive text functionality supports only 5 languages which includes English, Spanish, French, German and Italian languages.

Beyond this is a long list of other interesting additions.

Garmin has also tackled 57 bug fixes, including a fix for auto climb data screen selection and crash on map search results.

The update also bundles a handful of other improvements, all aimed at making your smartwatch experience smoother and more reliable.

According to Garmin, the software update 13.31 has already reached around 50% of Enduro 3, Tactix 8, Fenix E, and Fenix 8 users.

Keep in mind, that Garmin typically rolls out updates in stages, so it might take a few days before everyone gets it.

If your smartwatch is still stuck on older software, don’t worry—you can manually trigger the update. Just head to Menu > System > Software Update and tap Check for Updates.
