Two days ago, at the product launch event in Berlin, Huawei announced the release of the Watch Fit 4 and Fit 4 Pro alongside the Huawei Watch 5.
While the Huawei Watch Fit 4 succeeds the Fit 3, the Fit 4 Pro is an entirely new guy in the Watch Fit series.
In this post, we will be looking at the differences between the Huawei Watch Fit 4 vs Fit 4 Pro to help you decide which model to choose.
In a few words, the Fit 4 and Fit 4 Pro are two very similar watches. However, the Fit 4 Pro is more equipped. It has a more durable build and features ECG and skin temperature measurement. It also has a brighter display.
Huawei Watch Fit 4 vs Fit 4 Pro – Differences
Design
Looking at the design, the Fit 4 and Fit 4 Pro have the same appearance; however, the Fit 4 Pro has a more durable build. It has the same aluminum frame as the Fit 4, but the bezel is made of titanium. Moreover, while the Fit 4 has a Corning Gorilla Glass screen, the Fit 4 Pro has a Sapphire glass screen.
Sapphire glass, seen on many high-end watches, is highly scratch-resistant compared to Corning Gorilla Glass.
Both watches are rated 5ATM which means you can wear either of these to the shower or swimming pool. Though unlike the Fit 4, the Fit 4 Pro is also certified EN13319, and supports diving up to 40 meters.

As per the available colors, while the Fit 4 comes in white, purple, black, and grey colors, the Fit 4 Pro is available in green, black, and blue colors

Display
In the display department, both watches have the same 1.82 inches display powered by AMOLED. However, the Fit 4 Pro at 3000 nits boasts a 50% brighter display than the 2000 nits of Fit 4.
2000 nits is still very okay- that’s the same display brightness as Galaxy Watch 7 and Apple Watch Series 10.
Meanwhile, both watches are equipped with a rotating crown and a push-in button plus touchscreen support for effortless navigation.
Activity tracking
In the health tracking department, both watches are well-equipped to track all the basics. Each of these two will track your steps, calories, sleep, heart rate, stress, and blood oxygen.
Moreover, both watches feature the newly added heart rate variability tracking.
However, the Fit 4 Pro being a higher-end watch, features ECG and skin temperature measurement. Moreover, it also has a golfing app with over 15000 maps of the world in addition to a long list of golfing features.
Even more is that the Fit 4 Pro uses the Huawei TruSense algorithm that allows the watch to measure vital signs with greater speed and accuracy, thanks to a multi-region optical path design.
So, while the Fit 4 is a comprehensive health tracker, the Fit 4 Pro is more comprehensive. It uses a more advanced algorithm and offers more health tracking features.
Music storage and on-wrist calls
In the music storage area, like its predecessor, the Fit 4 and Fit 4 Pro support onboard music storage. Both watches are also equipped with a speaker and microphone that allows for on-wrist calls when the watch is connected to your phone.
Battery life
In the battery department, there is no difference. It is the same up to 7 days in typical usage, and up to 10 days when battery saver mode is enabled. It is up to 4 days when the display is always on. Meanwhile, while both watches support fast charging, the Fit 4 Pro takes just 60 minutes to fully charge while the Fit 4 takes 75 minutes to fully charge.
Price
As per the prices, as a result of the more premium build and extra features, the Fit 4 Pro is priced higher. While the Fit 4 retails for $200, it is $330 for the Fit 4 Pro.
Which should you get?
So Guys, from the design, display, and health tracking features, the Watch Fit 4 Pro is obviously a better watch.
The big question is, Is the brighter display, more durable build, and health tracking features worth the extra $130?
That’s up to you to decide.
