Honestly very disappointed in this tracker. It uses Samsung health app to log activity but as soon as you take a measurement like stress level or o2 the app stops using the tracker (disconnect tracker and re-connect to fix)And if you start a actual exercise in Samsung health the tracker should keep track of at least the steps right? WRONG IT WONT TRACK ANYTHING IN EXERSIZES means you have to keep the phone on you during exercise to track steps. So what’s the point of the fitness tracker…Came on time at least…

I bought this because I am trying to loose weight and become a healthier me. I am not an experienced health guru so this product works great for what I need it for.It does not track exercise you have to manually do that from your phone, but it does track sleep, hear rate, o2 stats and steps while exercising.I recieved notifications for my social media, emails, phone calls and text. For phone calls and text it will show me while it vibrates who it is.I’ve had this device now for 3 days and my battery is still around 60% which is easily found in the wearable app. You can also change the face and add widgets to the device through the wearable app as well. So my device not only counts my steps but tells me the date, time, weather, calories burned, hours slept, heart beat and also my calendar. If you are looking for something simple this is definitely a good choice in my opinion.

I’ve been using this tracker for about a week and so far I like it but am wishing I had spent a little more for the step up model fit. As a simple tracker this device has met my expectations and allowed me to keep track of steps, heart rate and sleeping patterns. In conjunction with the Samsung Health app I am able to monitor my calories in and calories out and keep track of the calorie deficit I wish to achieve.I have two main gripes with the product knocking this one down a star. Firstly is the short battery life. With constant heart rate tracking turned on I am getting about three and a half to four days of use before needing a recharge. With this feature turned off you can expect almost double that. This is not such a big hassle for me as I can find down time during the evening to charge it. Charge time is about an hour and a half.My second issue and bigger concern is that auto tracking of exercises does not work as well as I would hope. Most exercises you have to start and stop tracking within the phone app and not the watch itself. The watch then sends your heart rate and steps to the phone during work outs. Samsung states that exercises such as running and walking do auto track with this watch, but unfortunately for me this feature only worked spotty at best. It then completely stopped working after the first three days, meaning I either have to keep my phone with me when I jog or manually enter the run in the phone app and include details such as time and distance once the jog is over. It can be hard to keep track of these things if I don’t remember to make a note of them before starting. The regular fit allows you to add a set of your favorite exercises to the watch itself. From there you can start and stop tracking within the watch and not need to have your phone with you when exercising. This is the biggest omission between the fit and the fit e, and the reason I am wishing I had purchased the fit instead of this.In conclusion this watch is good for the most basic of functions but tracking exercises relies too heavily on the phone app. If you can live with that and keep your phone with you when working out it’s a good buy and will save you some money over the regular fit. However if you would like to be untethered from your phone while working out the regular fit might be the better buy for you. The regular fit also has a slightly larger color screen and bigger battery which would be nicer.I will continue to use this band as it does what I need it to at the moment, but I may consider giving this one to my wife and buying the regular fit for myself down the line.
