Fitbit Versa 2 Special vs Standard Edition: What’s The Difference?

Both the Special and Standard editions are the same in appearance and offer the same features except for the difference in colors and the presence of additional straps that come with the Special edition. In addition to a classic elastomer strap that comes with both editions, there are also jacquard woven polyester straps (large and small) in the Special edition. Moreover, while the Special edition is available in navy & pink/copper rose and smoke woven/mist grey colors, the Standard edition is available in black/carbon case, bordeaux/copper rose, petal/copper rose and stone/mist grey colors.

As a result, the Special edition costs a little more than the Standard edition.

Beyond these few differences, the Versa 2 is a great smartwatch, although not very sophisticated. It comes in a very compact and lightweight design, thanks to the aluminum case and fluoroelastomer straps. The 1.4 inches AMOLED display is very colorful and easy to read while navigation is via the touch-sensitive screen and a physical side button.

The Versa 2 will track your steps, calories, heart rate and sleep. It lacks inbuilt GPS but will allow you to track your routes and locations when you carry your phone along. It also features a breathing app that can help you reduce stress by guiding you through a breathing session.

Furthermore, the Versa 2 comes with a 4GB storage capacity that allows you to add your personal music with support for Spotify, Deezer and Pandora apps.

The bottom line, the Versa 2 is an outstanding smartwatch that is now succeeded by the Versa 3. Unfortunately, you can’t your personal music to the Versa 3.
