Which is Better?

  • Design and Display
  • Each of these three has got a remarkable design that’s stylish and elegant, but the Huawei Watch GT 2 is the slimmest, and with its stylish bezel, it has the most outstanding design than both the Pro 4G and Stratos 3 which are also sturdily built devices.

The Stratos 3 with its reflective LCD display will be slightly easier to read under direct sunlight compared to the GT 2’s and Pro 4G’s AMOLED displays. Although, the AMOLED display is more interactive and offers richer picture quality which is intriguing to watch.

  • Wear OS vs Proprietary Platforms
  • While the Stratos 3 and GT 2 run on their respective proprietary platforms, the Pro 4G runs on the Wear OS platform. And while Wear OS might not be the most outstanding platform, it offers a better you access to more of your favorite apps.

  • Standalone Features
  • The Ticwatch Pro 4G ships with e-SIM which supports cellular connectivity up to 4G (although limited to Verizon for now), this feature isn’t available on both the GT 2 and Stratos 3.

However, the GT 2 with both microphone and loudspeaker supports Bluetooth calling which allows you to make and receive calls directly from this device (the watch must be connected to the phone Bluetooth). Although not a full-fledged standalone smartwatch like the Pro 4G, it can be very helpful in certain situations.

The Stratos 3 lacks both a microphone and speaker.

  • Battery life

The GT 2 is tested to last up to 14 days allowing you to go longer on a single charge compared to the Stratos 3 with about 7 days long battery life and even longer than the Pro 4G which lasts an average of 1-2 days.

Although, the Pro 4G with dual AMOLED/FSTN display mode can go up to 30 days. With the FSTN display activated, the Pro 4G will last up to 30, but this will see all Wear OS features deactivated.

In all, we’ve three outstanding fitness-focused smartwatches with remarkable designs and some impressive long battery life.

Amazfit Stratos 3 vs Huawei Watch GT 2 vs Ticwatch Pro 4G
Huawei Watch GT 2 is a more comprehensive activity tracker

VERDICT: The Huawei Watch GT 2 floors the Stratos 3 and Pro 4G with its more sophisticated design that leaves it with the sleekest and classiest appearance. It also has the longest battery life and a comprehensive activity tracker. And with Bluetooth calling and Kirin A1 dual chip under the hood, it’s no doubt a comprehensive smartwatch.
