Fitbit Sense and Versa 3 are the two latest smartwatches from Fitbit which are set to be released in a few days time. The new smartwatches come with new features that the Versa 2 lacks and certainly stand as worthy competitors against other big names like the Apple Watch 6 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 3. The Versa 3 and Sense come with a loudspeaker with Google Assistant added to Alexa that was introduced last year on Versa 2. Other new features include inbuilt GPS and a slightly longer battery life of up to 6 days with fast charging technology. However, Fitbit Sense comes with ECG, stress monitoring, and a temperature sensor which Versa 3 lacks. As a result, it cost about $100 more than Versa 3. This comparison post compares the differences between Fitbit Versa 3 vs Sense to find out what separates these two and to help you decide which is a better smartwatch for you.

Features Compared
Both the Versa 2 and Sense offer remarkable features that make any of these two a big deal. With the introduction of inbuilt GPS after Fitbit Ionic which also has inbuilt GPS, you can conveniently track your outdoor activities without having to carry your phone along.
Moreover, the addition of loudspeaker is a big one, this means you can make and receive calls directly from these smartwatches with connection to your phone Bluetooth of which Bluetooth v5.0 means you can stay connected within 240 meters range.
The 1.58 inches display is now bigger, yet compact sizes, and that’s also worth noting. You get to see more at a glance.
However, Fitbit Sense which comes with ECG, stress tracking, and a temperature biosensor is a more comprehensive health tracker. It has an ECG app that tracks your heart rate and can detect irregular heart rhythm which can be a sign of atrial fibrillation, while the EDA Scan app can detect electrodermal activity which may indicate your body’s response to stress and the biosensor app can help you monitor your body temperature. In other words, the Fitbit Sense is a more in-depth health tracker but will cost you about a $100 more.
Which Should You Buy?
Personally, I’ll go with the Versa 3. I have got the Versa 2 already and with inbuilt GPS and loudspeaker, it’s a great bargain. However, if you want more health tracking features, Fitbit Sense is a better choice.
